University Behavioral Health of Denton is a private freestanding psychiatric hospital in Denton, TX, offering inpatient and outpatient mental health and substance abuse care. TheRegistered Nurse will coordinate and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the health team, following nursing standards.

The role requires TN license with 3+ years in a psychiatric facility; 7p-7:30am shift; rotating weekends.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years' experience in a psychiatric healthcare facility.
• Currently licensed to practice by the Texas State Board of Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all staff members deliver care in accordance with the Standards of Care and Practice.
• Responsibilities for compliance with the Joint Commission, state and regulatory standards and patient rights standards.
• Ensure Infection Control, Safety and Risk Management policies and procedures are consistently implemented.
• Documents patient information and nursing care in the provision of nursing services.
