Job summary

University Behavioral Health of Denton is a private freestanding psychiatric hospital serving North Texas, focused on mental health and chemical dependency care, with inpatient and outpatient programs.

The Admissions Coordinator (Licensed) oversees admissions, stepdowns and discharges in MedSeries4, coordinates transportation, liaises with families and staff, and completes psychosocial assessments and required paperwork to support smooth patient flow.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• 1–3 years related work experience preferred.
• Licensure must include LPC-Associate, LPC, LPC-S or LMSW, LCSW, LCSW-S or LMFT-Associate, LMFT, LMFT-S.

Responsibilities

• Screen admissions and coordinate pre-admission paperwork accurately.
• Complete psychosocial assessments and schedule follow ups.
• Coordinate transportation and liaison with family and staff.
• Ensure financial clearance with the business office.
