Work within multidisciplinary care teams in settings like hospitals, outpatient clinics, and residential facilities to promote recovery and maintain a safe, therapeutic environment.

Care Planning: Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, and social workers to design, update, and implement individualized patient treatment plans.

Medication Management: Administer psychotropic medications, evaluate drug efficacy, watch for side effects, and educate patients on their prescriptions

Qualifications

Licensure, Certification, Registration, etc.: Must have Registered Nurse license in the State of Texas. Must have current BLS/CPR.

ACLS within six months of hire. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patient served.
