Job summary

Piedmont Eastside is seeking an RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down in Snellville, GA. This part-time role offers 2 shifts of 12 hours per week with some weekends and provides opportunities to work with state-of-the-art technology in a high-acuity setting.

The RN will deliver holistic, patient-centered care, participate in clinical research opportunities, and contribute to a collaborative, supportive team focused on safety and excellent outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a nursing program.
• Current Georgia RN license or multistate.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for patients in the Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care using nursing processes.
• Collaborate with care teams to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient care accurately in medical records.
• Monitor patient status and respond to changes promptly.
• Oversee ancillary staff and delegate tasks as needed.
• Educate patients and families about care plans.
• Communicate effectively with Charge Nurse and physicians.
