Piedmont Eastside in Snellville, GA is seeking a registered nurse for the Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down unit on a part-time day schedule (2 x 12-hour shifts per week, with some weekends). This role emphasizes high-acuity patient care, autonomy within a collaborative team, and use of state-of-the-art technology to support safety and outcomes.

Responsabilidades

• The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Performs patient assessments and collects data.
• Organizes data into a care plan and identifies outcomes.
• Carries out plan of care to achieve outcomes.
• Provides patient care appropriate to condition and needs.
• Oversees activities of ancillary and support staff.
• Identifies teaching opportunities and provides resources for education.
• Communicates issues to Charge Nurse/Manager/physician.
• Documents patient care and concerns in the chart.
