Job summary

Piedmont Eastside Medical Center is seeking an RN for Progressive Care/PCU/Step Down on the Snellville, GA campus. This part-time position offers 2 x 12-hour day shifts per week with some weekends.

You will work in a high-intensity unit bridging ICU and medical-surgical care, with focus on safety, autonomy, teamwork and accountability. Join a team dedicated to holistic, patient-centered care, supported by state-of-the-art technology and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduate of a nursing program.
• MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: New Graduates eligible.
• MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW: Georgia RN license; BLS.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff.
• Document patient care and concerns in the patient record.
• Identify teaching opportunities and provide resources for patients.
