Job summary

Henry Ford Health Staffing is seeking a registered nurse for a contingent role in Grand Blanc, MI (Genesys). This position requires 24 hours per month with day and midnight shifts within a flexible float pool across Henry Ford Health facilities.

Under general supervision, you will perform nursing interventions, identify patient problems early, and support care across multiple units. Willingness to float and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Two to three (2-3) years of recent related clinical nursing experience in the area of practice.
Willingness to float to multiple locations.
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of nursing practices.
Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations.
Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (such as vital signs).
