Job summary

Henry Ford Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for contingent, part-time shifts (24 hours per month) across multiple Detroit-area hospitals. You will float to designated locations, performing a range of nursing interventions under general supervision.

The role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Michigan RN licensure, and current BLS and ACLS certification. Ideal candidates are flexible, patient-centered, and able to communicate effectively with teams and patients.

Qualifications

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
Minimum of two to three (2-3) years of recent related clinical nursing experience in the area of practice and a demonstrated level of performance required.
Willingness to float to multiple locations.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Responsibilities

Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of nursing practices.
Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations.
Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient‑specific data collection.
