AdventHealth in Zephyrhills, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for night shift to deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in a busy acute care environment. You will perform initial assessments, coordinate patient education and discharge planning, and collaborate with the care team to ensure optimal patient flow.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), and RN licensure with BLS certification; 1+ year acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure is required.
• BLS CPR certification required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Participates in peer interviewing and review processes.
• Considers safety, effectiveness, cost, and impact on practice in nursing delivery.
• Collects data for patient health and unit-level improvements.
• Conducts initial patient assessments and initiates consults as needed.
• Maintains safe practices with regulatory compliance.
• Ensures safe handoff communications between caregivers.
