Job summary

Mercy Health in Fairfield is seeking a Progressive Care (Step down) Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced PCU setting, evenings/nights, PRN for the Fairfield Hospital.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, collaborate with the care team, monitor safety, and coordinate care across units; licensure as RN and BLS/ACLS preferred; 1 year RN exp required.

Qualifications

• 1 year of RN experience is required
• BLS/ACLS certification preferred at hire, ACLS within 6 months
• Current RN state licensure in Ohio or as required by state law

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Conduct initial and ongoing patient assessments and create a plan of care
• Serve as primary contact for care coordination across hospital departments
• Act as a patient safety advocate and participate in quality improvement
• Administer medications per policy andState practice guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned
