Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in compliance with the RN Practice Act and participate in interdisciplinary care planning. The role emphasizes therapeutic communication, safety, and clinical leadership on shift.

The nurse will assess patient needs, administer medications, monitor vitals, and educate patients and families. ACLS/BLS as required, with opportunity for growth in a 200+ bed Southern Kentucky facility.

Qualifications

• RN must be licensed in Kentucky and in good standing.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• Minimum one year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and evaluate the patients care needs and carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
• Instruct and educate patients and families as part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
