Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY is seeking an RN for Progressive Care to provide direct patient care within the RN Practice Act.

You will assess patient needs, administer medications, monitor vitals, document care, and educate patients and families as part of a multidisciplinary care planning team.

Requirements: KY RN license, BLS, ACLS within 6 months, and about 1 year of clinical nursing experience.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse from accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure with KY Board of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire.
• One year of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess plans and evaluate the patients care needs and will carry out physician orders.
• Administer prescribed medications, changes dressings, cleans wounds, monitors vital signs.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing computerized documentation systems.
• Instruct and educate patients and families as part of part of a Multidisciplinary Care Planning team.
