Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY, seeks a Progressive Care Registered Nurse to deliver patient-centered care and coordinate pre- and post-operative nursing support in a fast-paced unit.

In collaboration with the medical team, you will monitor patients, document care, administer medications, and advocate for safe, high-quality outcomes while supporting family education and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Advanced Cardiac Life Spt required within 90 days of start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support required within 30 days of start date
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention required within 90 days of start date
• PALS Pediatric Advanced Life Support required within 90 days of start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree

Responsibilities

• Assess patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes
• Perform procedures or functions as ordered by provider
• Document care administered in the medical record promptly and thoroughly
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor responses
• Maintain knowledge of meds, procedures, and equipment for cardiac and medical-surgical patients

Job Summary and Qualifications

The Progressive Care Registered Nurse coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered care. In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre-operative and post-operative nursing care. The RN serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience.

What you will do in this role:

• Assess patient condition during admission and during each shift, identifying and reporting any changes in patient status.

• Document the administration of care in the patient medical record in a timely and thorough manner.
• Perform the administration of prescribed medications and monitors response.
• Maintain a knowledge of medications, procedures, and equipment used in the care of cardiac and medical-surgical patients.

What qualifications you will need:
