Job summary

Atrium Health Kings Mountain's 2 North/Progressive Care unit seeks a part-time RN to deliver high-quality inpatient care for adults with varied medical conditions. You will collaborate with physicians, therapy, and care management to coordinate patient-centered treatment.

We value strong clinical judgment, safety, and teamwork; self-scheduling is available and you may float to related units as needed within the service area.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state.
• BLS certification (and any specialty requirements as needed).

Responsibilities

• Engage in professional governance and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Use nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement and evaluate care with patient/family involvement.
• Monitor patient conditions, adjust care plans, and coordinate with care team to optimize outcomes.
• Uphold a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocol; document accurately.
• Communicate effectively and delegate appropriately within the team.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and maintain required certifications.
