Job summary

Atrium Health Cleveland is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse for its Progressive Care Unit in Shelby, NC. The PRN/36-hour-in-6-weeks schedule includes a 12-hour shift per pay period, with weekend and holiday requirements.

The unit handles cardiac, medical and surgical patients with telemetry monitoring, requiring keen critical thinking and teamwork. Ideal candidates will have completed an accredited nursing program with an active RN license in the state, BLS certification, and ACLS

Qualifications

• Completion of accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
• ACLS recommended within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• As an RN, you will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care.
• Utilize evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to ensure the safest patient environment and best patient experience across the continuum.
