Job summary

Atrium Health Pineville is seeking a Registered Nurse to join 2 Palmetto Progressive Care Unit. You will provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care per standards and policies.

Requirements include graduating from an accredited nursing program, an RN license valid in North Carolina, BLS certification, and at least 6 months of RN experience. This is not for new grads.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Candidates must have at least 6 months of RN experience.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum using evidence-based practice and clinical decision making.

Where You Will Work:

2 Palmetto Progressive Care Unit sees a variety of patient diagnoses such as: COPD/Pulmonary Diseases, Heart Failure, Cardiac Arrhythmias, Renal Failure, DKA, conditions related to withdrawal (alcohol and/or other substances) and lots more! We see patients with tracheostomies requiring mechanical ventilation, continuous BIPAP/CPAP, high flow nasal cannula, hypothermia regulation, and titratable IV drips. We value Shared Governance through our Unit Practice Council, encourage the pursuit of Clinical Ladder Advancement and Progressive Certification, and strive to grow and foster a strong unit culture of teamwork, commitment, integrity, and caring. We are also the only unit at Pineville to offer a 2:1 Virtual Nursing Co-Care Model for our experienced RNs!

ExpectationsWe’reLooking For:
