Job summary

AdventHealth in Dade City, FL is seeking an RN for the night shift to deliver high‑quality patient care on a 36‑hour week schedule. You will follow infection control standards, implement care plans, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safe, timely patient progress.

Requires an Associate's Nursing, with Bachelor’s degree preferred; active RN license and BLS. Proficiency with Cerner EMR is a plus, and strong communication, problem‑solving, and prioritization skills are

Qualifications

• RN with Associate's degree required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Proficient in nursing care methods and procedures.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to organize and multi-task in a fast-paced unit.
• Experience with EKG monitoring and patient assessment.
• Basic computer skills; Cerner EMR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow infection prevention precautions and medication safety policies.
• Develop and execute short- and long-term patient care plans.
• Complete follow-up assessments and adjust care as needed.
• Communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team and families.
• Provide hand-offs with thorough, clear information.
• Support patient experience through hourly rounding and empathy.
