Carilion Clinic's Carilion New River Valley Medical Center in Christiansburg, VA is hiring a Registered Nurse for full-time night shifts from 7pm to 7am with rotating weekends and holidays. A $15K sign-on bonus is available for experienced RNs and $10K for new grads.

The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care across age groups, participate in care planning, documentation, and collaboration with the healthcare team to improve patient outcomes while supporting education and mentoring of staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia or eligibility to obtain licensure.

What We Require:

• Education: Graduate of a State Board of Nursing approved program required.
• Experience: None.
• Licensure, Certification, and/or Registration: Current Registered Nurse license in the Commonwealth of Virginia required or eligibility to obtain licensure required.
• Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required. Additional certifications such as ACLS, PALS, or NRP may be required based on assigned work area.
• Other Minimum Qualifications: Keyboarding skills and computer literacy required, including use of electronic medical records. For Behavioral Health roles, must demonstrate ability to safely manage disruptive or potentially violent patients.

Compensation Range:

$33.52 - $50.28 Employee pay is based on a variety of factors, including qualifications, credentials, education, and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
