Under the Nurse Leader, you will contribute to a patient-family-centered approach, maintain documentation accuracy, and participate in safety and quality initiatives to support hospital standards.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or equivalent.
• BSN, MSN, DNP/PhD preferred; new grads may enroll in BSN within 1 year of licensure.
• Must have NCLEX licensure and Michigan RN license on hire.
• ACLS, BLS and pediatric certifications required.
• Pediatric and neonatal stabilization certifications preferred as listed.
• Endorsements in trauma/critical care are valued.
• CNIC certifications as specified by job posting.

Corewell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148-bed, Magnet®-designated hospital that is a recognized health care leader in the metro Detroit area. Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977, it offers specialty services that include 24-hour emergency care, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, an inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology, including advanced CT with cardiac scoring, fixed MRI including pacemaker, cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK and elastography).

Scope of Work

As a Clinical Nurse with Corewell Health, providing top-notch patient care is paramount. You’ll be responsible for using the nursing process framework and incorporating patient-family-centered care principles to ensure the highest quality of care. Under the direction of the Nurse Leader, you’ll be a vital member of our team, making a real difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

Qualifications

• Required Associate’s Degree or equivalent Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Required Bachelor’s Degree B.S.N., or M.S.N, or DNP/PhD - if not minimum BSN prepared, new graduate/nurse with less than one (1) year experience is required to enroll in an accredited BSN program within one (1) year of licensure date and complete within five (5) years, required. This is effective April 18, 2023.
• Required Graduates from non-accredited school of nursing programs must have at least one year of acute care experience or greater than 2 years of experience in a licensed health care role, such as an LPN or EMT role, etc., and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
