Advanced Recovery Systems, LLC is seeking a Program Nurse (RN) to support nursing operations at Promises DFW in Lewisville, TX. The role emphasizes assessment, medication management and direct client care within a behavioral health program.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience.
• Valid Registered Nurse license issued by state of employment.
• Experience with a 12-step program preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers quality client care through assessment, monitoring and communication of observations with physicians and treatment team.
• Coordinates admissions with Admissions Department and obtains admission orders from physicians.
• Monitors client self-administration of medication.
• Promotes restoration of health, client and family education and serves as a client advocate.
• Maintains infection control and employee health program.
• Coordinates with Nursing leadership and executive staff to report on departmental activities.
• Functions as a house supervisor in absence of other supervisory staff.
• Coordinates lab work and referrals for medical appointments.
