MercyOne Des Moines Medical Center is seeking an Acute Care RN to provide safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients with varying acuity. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, coordinate with the interdisciplinary team, and support patients and families throughout their care journey.

This full-time role in the Procedural Short Stay unit is based in Downtown Des Moines and offers a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 plus relocation assistance.

Competenze

• Associate Degree in Nursing is required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license required.
• American Heart Association BLS required.
• ACLS required for units with telemetry monitoring.
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire.
• Basic computer skills.

POSITION PURPOSE

The Acute Care RN provides safe, effective, and compassionate care to patients with varying levels of acuity. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care; coordinating with the interdisciplinary team; and supporting patients and families throughout their care journey.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Associate Degree in Nursing required
• BSN preferred
• Current Iowa RN license required
• American Heart Association BLS required
• ACLS required for units with telemetry monitoring
• Mandatory Reporter training within 3 months of hire
• Basic computer skills
