Job summary

Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking an RN Procedural Periop to provide high-quality nursing care during invasive or interventional procedures. You will apply the nursing process, collaborate with the care team, and support patient safety throughout the procedural experience.

The role requires valid Washington RN licensure, CPR every two years, ACLS, and residency training with 2 years in OR/PACU, plus strong assessment and EMR skills.

Qualifications

• Current Washington state licensure as an RN.
• CPR certification required every two years.
• ACLS; PALS may be required depending on location.
• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing approved by the WA State Board of Nursing.
• Completion of residency with minimum two years in OR/PACU.
• Strong assessment skills and EMR knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing services to support patients through invasive or interventional procedures.
• Apply nursing process including assessment, triage, and education.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.
• Support coordination of healthcare resources throughout the procedural experience.
