Job summary

Riderwood Village by Erickson Senior Living is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Health to join our team within a gated community. No driving is required as all residents live within the community.

The RN provides skilled nursing care in accordance with Maryland regulations for a Medicare-certified Home Health Agency. Compensation ranges from $48 to $52 per hour based on experience, with a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse license for the State of Maryland.
• CPR certification is required.
• OASIS experience is required.
• Minimum of 5 years recent Home Care experience is required.
• Medicare-certified home health experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess residents’ needs and develop individualized service plans in collaboration with residents, families, and physicians.
• Communicate changes in residents’ condition to the care team.
• Ensure the plan of care is implemented and followed by the agency team.
• Deliver nursing care per the plan and nursing standards.
• Participate in case conferences and resident-related meetings.
• Assist in orienting and training other agency nurses and aides.

We are seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) - Home Health to join our team within our beautiful, gated community!

No driving required! All residents are located within the community, allowing you to focus on providing exceptional care without the stress of travel. The RN provides skilled nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulatory standards for a Maryland-licensed, Medicare-certified Home Health Agency.

Compensation: $48 - $52 per hour, based on experience

Sign-On Bonus: $5,000*

How you will make an impact:

• Partnering and collaborating in the initial evaluation to assess the residents’ needs to develop and implement a service plan based on the evaluation and in conjunction with the resident, family, physician, and /or authorized practitioner

• Communicating any changes in the resident’s condition

• Ensuring that the resident’s individualized plan is implemented and followed by the Home Health and Home Support agency team of providers

• Delivering nursing care as outlined in the plan of care and according to acceptable nursing standards

• Participating in case conferences and other resident-related meetings

• Participating in the orientation and training of other agency nurses as well as training any Aide staff development activities

What you will need:

• Current Registered Nurse license for the State of Maryland

• Current CPR certification, required

• Current OASIS experience required

• Minimum of 5 years recent Home Care experience required

• Medicare-certified home health experience

• Strong computer proficiency and effective verbal and written communication skills

• Ability to effectively manage a patient caseload while maintaining quality care, accurate documentation, and regulatory compliance

• Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks

• Experience in caring for seniors and/or senior with cognitive impairment
