Job summary

Springdale Health and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) for PRN shifts to provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting.

You will collaborate with physicians, rehabilitation professionals, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care, administer medications, monitor residents’ conditions, and contribute to individualized care plans while supporting families and staff.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license.
• Strong geriatrics and rehabilitation care knowledge.
• BLS/CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, resident-centered nursing care.
• Assess, monitor, and document residents’ health conditions and progress.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
• Identify and promptly communicate changes in resident condition.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Provide education and support to residents and their families.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations.
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for residents.
• Supervise and support nursing assistants to help ensure quality care delivery.
