Job summary

Hendrix Health and Rehabilitation seeks a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct nursing care to residents in a long-term care and rehabilitation setting. You will collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure high standards of care.

Responsibilities include assessing health conditions, administering medications, and documenting progress. BLS/CPR is required; PRN schedule with shift differential pay available.

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Strong clinical skills in geriatric and rehabilitation care
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
• Compassionate, resident-focused approach to care
• Current BLS/CPR certification required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, resident-centered nursing care
• Assess, monitor, and document residents’ health conditions and progress
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Identify and promptly communicate changes in resident condition
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Provide education and support to residents and their families
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility policies and state and federal regulations
• Promote a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for residents
• Supervise and support nursing assistants to help ensure quality care deliver
