Job summary

AdventHealth is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Celebration, Florida team on a PRN, day shift basis. You will assess patients across physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors, develop care plans, administer medications, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe, quality care.

Requirements include an RN license, BLS, and 1+ year of acute care experience; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Qualifications

Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
BLS certification required.
1+ year acute care hospital experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors.
Develop and implement individualized care plans and evaluate them.
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and monitor for adverse reactions.
Educate patients and families about health conditions and self-care strategies.
Coordinate care with medical staff to ensure effective communication and teamwork.
Document patient information and outcomes in the medical record.
Respond to code situations and provide interventions.
