Job summary

Huntsville Hospital is seeking a registered nurse to identify patient needs and priorities through comprehensive assessment. You will plan and delegate care to the team based on patient needs, ensuring safe, effective nursing interventions during your assigned shift.

The RN remains accountable for outcomes of care delivered, with opportunities to grow within Huntsville Hospital, Huntsville Hospital for Women & Children, and Madison Hospital, including ongoing education and residency programs.

Qualifications

• RN must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program with Alabama licensure.
• BLS certification required before orientation ends; ACLS within one year of hire.
• Experience preferred; new graduates welcome.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and priorities for care.
• Plan and delegate nursing care based on assessments.
• Evaluate patient response and progress toward expected outcomes; ensure accountable care.
