Job summary

Eventide on Eighth Care Center in Moorhead, MN, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN (as needed) coverage. Shifts include 12-hour day or night options with a minimum 24 hours per month and two weekend shifts per month.

Ideal candidates hold an active MN RN license or eligibility. The role involves administering medications, patient assessments, and care plan coordination, with documentation in EMR and collaboration with the care team.

Qualifications

• Active MN RN license (or eligibility on hire)
• Long-Term Care experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and cover weekends as required

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care per established standards and policies
• Administer medications and treatments and monitor effectiveness
• Document care in residents' electronic records
• Observe and update plans of care with interdisciplinary team
• Mentor and orient new staff and ensure appropriate staffing levels
• Communicate needs to physicians and care staff and participate in care conferences
