Job summary

CHI Williston Health, now part of CommonSpirit Health, seeks a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver compassionate, high-quality care in a dynamic setting. You will perform assessments, deliver skilled procedures, and execute patient care plans with an emphasis on patient well-being and recovery.

You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team, prioritizing safety and efficiency, while applying urgent thinking skills in a fast-paced environment to support patient outcomes and your own

Qualifications

  • Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
  • ND RN license required.
  • BLS certification from AHA required.
  • ACLS within 6 months of start date.
  • PALS within 6 months of start date.

Responsibilities

  • Triage and monitor patient health, detect changes, and respond appropriately.
  • Respond to life-threatening situations following nursing standards and policies.
  • Prioritize care plans based on assessed needs and resource requirements.
  • Collaborate with providers to deliver exceptional care.
  • Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per policies.
  • Educate patients and families on care plans and health maintenance.

  • Performs triage by assessing patient's health and continuously monitor; detect changes in symptoms, health or pain, and take action as necessary; and quickly and accurately assess patient care needs
  • Responds to life saving situations based upon nursing standards, policies, procedures, and protocol
  • Sets priorities in plan of care based on assessed needs and anticipates personnel, supplies, and equipment required to care for patients based on assessed needs
  • Works collaboratively with provider to provide exceptional care
  • Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures
  • Provides patient and family education
Job Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in Nursing
  • Registered Nurse: ND
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 - months
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) within 6 - months
Preferred
  • Medical-Surgical Unit and/or Long-Term Care RN experience

Pay Range
