Job summary

Management & Training Corporation is seeking a registered nurse to provide direct medical care to Inland Empire Job Corps Center students in San Bernardino, CA. The RN will oversee LPNs/LVNs and ensure compliance with state nurse practice acts while coordinating health services and immunizations.

Responsibilities include delivering nursing care, counseling on health promotion, and monitoring ill students. A valid CA RN license, CPR/BLS, and a driver license are required.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment and CPR and BLS.
• Experience working with youth is preferred.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

• Provide supervision to the staff LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurse)/ LVNs to assure compliance with all state regulations and scope of practice and nurse practice act for practical and/ or vocational nurses.
• Provide basic health care to students as required by DOL including all entry requirements and immunizations.
• Monitor students with illness and unable to attend class.

Wage: $47.00 per hour

Schedule: PRN- Varies, when needed.

What you will be doing:

You’ll be responsible for treating and preventing minor injuries and illnesses assuring all medical clinical care is provided to students. They will provide information and guidance for the promotion of good health and well-being of our students.

Essential Functions
