Job summary

Management & Training Corporation (MTC) seeks a registered nurse to provide and coordinate clinical care for students at the Edison Job Corps Center in Edison, NJ. You will treat minor injuries and illnesses and offer health guidance to promote well-being.

The role is PRN with a schedule that varies, and no nights, weekends, or holidays. You will supervise LPNs/LVNs, ensure state compliance, and maintain immunization entry requirements while supporting a caring, professional team dedicated to

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment.
• Experience working with youth is preferred.
• A valid driver license with acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to students as authorized by the medical provider within scope for state-specific nurse practice act
• Provide supervision to the staff LPNs/LVNs to assure compliance with all state regulations and scope of practice and nurse practice act for practical and/ or vocational nurses
• Provide basic health care to students as required by DOL including all entry requirements and immunizations
• Monitor students with illness and unable to attend class.

Wage: $38.41 per hour

What you will be doing:

You’ll be responsible for treating and preventing minor injuries and illnesses assuring all medical clinical care is provided to students. They will provide information and guidance for the promotion of good health and well-being of our students.

Education And Experience Requirements
