Job summary

Management & Training Corporation seeks a registered nurse to join the Clearfield Job Corps Center team in Clearfield, UT. The role focuses on treating and preventing minor injuries and illnesses, while guiding students toward good health.

You will supervise LPNs/LVNs, manage student health needs within state regulations, and ensure immunization and entry health requirements are met. The position supports work-life balance with a PRN schedule.

Qualifications

• Valid, unrestricted RN license in the state of employment.
• Experience working with youth in a paid or unpaid capacity is preferred.
• A valid driver license with an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to students as authorized by the medical provider and within state nurse practice act.
• Provide supervision to the staff LPNs (Licensed Practical Nurse)/ LVNs to assure compliance with all state regulations and scope of practice and nurse practice act for practical and/ or vocational nurses.
• Provide basic health care to students as required by DOL including all entry requirements and immunizations.
• Monitor students with illness and unable to attend class.
