Bloomington Meadows Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) to deliver, coordinate, and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with the health team. The role requires applying the nursing process and standards of care to patients across age groups in a behavioral health setting.

The candidate should have a nursing degree, Indiana licensure, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification, with two years of psychiatric facility experience preferred.

Qualificações

• Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.
• Licensed to practice by the Indiana State Board of Nursing.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification and crisis intervention training within 90 days of employment.

The Staff Nurse (R.N.) is a registered professional nurse who delivers, coordinates, and evaluates patient care through collaborative efforts with health team members in accordance with the nursing process and the standards of care and practices. The Staff Nurse must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care, based on physical, psychosocial, educational, safety and related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patients served. Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Indiana State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements: CPR/AED/First Aid certification, non violent physical crisis intervention completion & appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting in a restraining process. Must pass a medication administration exam.
