Job summary

Bloomington Meadows Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse (RN) to deliver, coordinate, and evaluate patient care through collaborative efforts with the health team in accordance with the nursing process and standards of care. The position is non-exempt and focuses on both inpatient and outpatient behavioral health programs.

Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing, be licensed in Indiana, and maintain CPR/AED/First Aid certification with completion of crisis intervention within 90 days.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Indiana State licensure as a Registered Nurse required.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification, non-violent crisis intervention within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, coordinate and evaluate patient care with the health team.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Graduate from an accredited program of professional nursing required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.

Experience: A minimum of two (2) years experience in a psychiatric health-care facility preferred.

Licensure: Currently licensed to practice by the Indiana State Board of Nursing.

Additional Requirements: CPR/AED/First Aid certification, non violent physical crisis intervention completion & appropriate use of Seclusion and Restraint within 90 days of employment and prior to assisting in a restraining process. Must pass a medication administration exam.
