Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in Plainfield, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work one-on-one with a patient in the home setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care using the nursing process while supporting families.

Qualifications include an active nursing license in Illinois, current BLS, health certificate, PPD or Chest X-Ray, and prior RN/LPN experience. Day/Night shifts available; competitive pay with benefits and 401(k).

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.

• Assesses signs and symptoms indicating physiologic/psychosocial changes.
• Collects and documents nursing diagnoses and care data.
• Other RN or LPN duties as assigned.

Salary: $35-$45 / per hour

Location: Plainfield

Acuity: G-tube/Trach/Vent/Pediatric

Day Shifts Available: Saturdays and Sundays 7a-7p

Night shifts Available: Monday and Thurs 7pm-7am

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Performs focused interview to identify specific patient needs.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
• Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses
• Other Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Current Nursing License in the state in which the practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) OR Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience preferred.
