Job summary

ALASKA HEART INSTITUTE in Anchorage is seeking an RN Primary to Physicians to provide professional nursing care in a clinic setting. This role involves collaborating with physicians to ensure quality patient care, following established practices, and maintaining patient records.

The position offers a pay range of $40–$48 per hour, depending on experience and education, along with a sign-on bonus of $10,000 and various employee benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited CMA, LPN or RN program.
• Possession of current CMA, Alaska State LPN or Registered Nurse license.
• Current CPR certification; current ACLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares equipment and aids physicians during examination and treatment.
• Observes, records, and reports patients' conditions to providers.
• Documents test results and patient education as per standards.

Summary of Duties: A nonexempt position that provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices and works closely with physicians to ensure quality care.

PAY RANGE: $40–$48 (dependent upon experience and education)

SIGN ON BONUS: $10,000

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Prepares equipment and aids physicians during examination, treatment, and testing of patients.
• Observes, records, and reports patient’s condition and reaction to treatments, drug testing to providers.
• Maintains and reviews patient records, charts, and other pertinent information.
• Documents test results, phone calls, and patient education in accordance with nursing and organization standards.
• Orders medications as prescribed by provider.
• Maintains patient confidentiality.
• Other duties as assigned by supervision.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education: Minimum: Graduate of an accredited CMA, LPN or RN program.
