Job summary

OptumCare in Seattle is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver personalized patient care and support clinicians in coordinating care across the continuum. You will participate in clinical duties and contribute to teaching plans for patients and families.

The role emphasizes collaboration, quality care, and professional development within a supportive environment. Active RN licensure in WA, BLS certification, and 2+ years of RN experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Active Registered Nurse license through the Washington State Department of Health.
• Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Assesses and evaluates patient care needs. Suggests solutions to patient care problems & complaints
• Identifies & recommends solutions to departmental problems
• Assists in assessing departmental function and productivity & recommends changes as necessary
• Assesses patient/family learning needs and coordinates and carries out teaching plan
