Job summary

UnitedHealth Group is seeking an RN for Primary Care Northgate in Seattle to provide personalized patient care and support the provider's practice across the continuum of care.

The RN will assess care needs, coordinate teaching plans, and identify solutions to departmental issues, with a focus on improving patient outcomes. Salary ranges from $29.00 to $52.00 per hour, plus a comprehensive benefits package including equity stock purchase and 401k contribution.

Qualifications

  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Active Registered Nurse license through the Washington State Department of Health.
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross).

The RN’s primary role is to provide personalized patient care; support the provider’s practice by performing clinical duties and assisting in the coordination of patient care. The RN’s communication, conduct and performance should support the clinics efforts.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assesses and evaluates patient care needs. Suggests solutions to patient care problems & complaints
  • Identifies & recommends solutions to departmental problems
  • Assists in assessing departmental function and productivity & recommends changes as necessary
  • Assesses patient/family learning needs and coordinates and carries out teaching plan

Required Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing
  • Active Registered Nurse license through the Washington State Department of Health
  • Basic Life Support for Healthcare providers (AHA) or CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer (American Red Cross)
Preferred Qualification:
  • 2+ years of experience working as an Registered Nurse
