Job summary

Atrium Health Lake Norman in Cornelius, NC, is seeking an Registered Nurse (RN) for PreAnesthesia Testing / Preop. The role involves rotating 4-9 hour shifts, M-F, with weekend and night call. The nurse will float between Pre-op and Pre-admission testing as part of a supportive Perioperative Services team.

Qualified candidates hold an accredited nursing program completion, an active RN license, and BLS certification. PACU/CCU or ED experience and ACLS are valued but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Deliver safe, therapeutic care following established standards and procedures.
• Lead team communication to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes.
