Job summary

Novant Health seeks a Registered Nurse for the Outpatient Surgery Center in Charlotte, NC. The RN is responsible for coordinating telephone pre-admission assessments, supporting ASC operations, and collaborating with the care team to ensure smooth turnover and patient flow.

Qualified candidates will have an ADN and RN licensure, with a Bachelor’s degree preferred. Experience in ASC, PACU, or OR is desirable, and ACLS/PALS are a plus.

Qualifications

• Must have thorough understanding of RN role and state nurse practice act.
• Ability to set priorities and organize workload of unit.
• Knowledge to adapt care to age-specific needs.
• Proficient in telephone screening and interviewing skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate telephone pre-admission assessments for ASC patients.
• Work as part of the ASC team, including turnover responsibilities.
• Support day-to-day ASC operations and cross-training to other areas.
