Atrium Health Lake Norman in Cornelius, NC, invites a Registered Nurse to join our Perioperative Services team focusing on pre-anesthesia testing and preop care.

As an RN, you will provide and coordinate patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care. You will contribute to a patient-centered environment across preop to recovery with a strong emphasis on teamwork and continuous learning.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license for the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support certification (American Heart Association).
• PACU/CCU/ED experience preferred.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Our team collaborates closely with skilled surgeons, anesthesiologists, and Advocate Health teammates to deliver safe, compassionate, and patient-centered care. We specialize in general surgery, orthopedics, Urology, and Gynecology. You'll be part of a supportive environment that values teamwork, clinical excellence, and continuous learning. We are committed to ensuring every patient receives the highest standard of care from pre-op to recovery.

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• Previous PACU, Critical Care or Emergency Department experience preferred
• ACLS preferred

What You’ll Do:

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
