Job summary

Columbia River Surgery Center in Portland, OR is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse PreOp PostOp to join a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center. The role provides continuity and quality nursing care, assists physicians in procedure rooms, and supports anesthesia care and discharge planning.

Schedule is Monday-Friday with no on-call, nights, weekends, or holidays. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401k, paid holidays, and more as described.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in Oregon.
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS accredited by AHA.
• Experience in PreOp, PostOp, or Critical Care.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.
• Assist physicians in the procedure rooms with sedation and sterile techniques as deemed appropriate.
• Provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment and discharge preparation.

Education

RN license in Oregon
