Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgicare Mansfield is seeking a Registered Nurse Preop/Pacu to join a dedicated team. The role emphasizes continuity and high-quality patient care in a surgical setting, with weekday shifts only and no holidays, weekends, nights, or on-call duties.

The PreOp/PACU RN will assist with conscious sedation, sterile technique, and post-anesthesia care across multiple specialties; requires active TX RN license, BLS/ACLS, and PACU or critical care experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile techniques.
• Care for patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; plan discharge.
