Job summary

Nebraska Medicine's Bellevue Medical Center is seeking an RN for the Preop/PACU unit. The role supports in‑patient surgical services, coordinating care from admission through recovery, with call and weekend/holiday rotations.

The position requires a BSN (or qualifying exceptions), Nebraska or compact RN licensure, and certifications (BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC/ATCN). Competitive compensation and education sponsorship are offered.

Qualifications

• BSN degree is required unless exceptions apply.
• Active Nebraska RN license or compact state license is required.
• BLS certification is required.
• PALS certification is required; department dependent.
• ACLS certification is required; department dependent.
• TNCC or ATCN certification within one year or hire date/dept dependent required.

Responsibilities

• Provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care with other health care providers for a designated patient group.
• Ensure safe, holistic care in varied settings including long‑term, emergent, and procedural environments.
