Job summary

United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) is hiring a Full Time Preop/PACU RN to manage nursing care for patients undergoing procedures at Lakewood Endoscopy Center.

The role includes providing total patient care during recovery, assisting in procedures, and ensuring the safety and comfort of patients. Applicants must have an accredited nursing education, a CO RN license, and experience in PACU or ICU.

USPI offers a competitive salary of $34 - $53 per hour along with excellent benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience in PACU / ICU required.
• ASC experience a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of all phases of the perioperative process.

Responsibilities

• Implement physician orders and evaluate patient conditions.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with various tasks.
• Provide total comprehensive patient care post-anesthesia.

Lakewood Endoscopy is hiring a Full Time Preop/Pacu RN to join our team!

Preop/PACU Registered Nurse at Lakewood Endoscopy Center:

Under the direct supervision of the Pre-Op/PACU manager, the PACU nurse is responsible for implementing all physician orders, providing for the continuity and quality of nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patients' condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all time. At times, assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation and utilizing sterile technique as deemed appropriate. Responsible for providing total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation. Responsible for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current CO Registered Nurse License
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS
• ASC experience a plus
• Experience in PACU / ICU required
• Good communication and human relations skills
• Ability to organize and follow through on own initiative.
• Thorough knowledge of all phases of perioperative process including knowledge of surgical procedures and anesthesia implications.
