Center for Endoscopy in Oceanside, CA is hiring a PRN Registered Nurse Preop/PACU. This role provides preoperative and PACU nursing care, including monitoring and coordination with anesthesia, with emphasis on safety and patient comfort.

Schedule is Monday-Friday with no call, nights, weekends, or holidays. Competitive pay ranges from $44.00 to $55.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited RN school of nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of CA.
• BLS and ACLS required; PALS if required by the center.
• Two years of PACU or Critical Care experience preferred.
• Ability to use nursing judgment to prioritize and organize workload.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse Preop/PACU provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients before surgery, and patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge.

Monday-Friday work schedule!

NO call required!

NO Nights, NO Weekends, NO Holiday work hours!

We offer a competitive starting pay range of $44.00 to $55.00 per hour, with compensation based on experience.
