Our expansion will introduce a state-of-the-art Plaza on the campus of Baylor Scott and White Medical Center- College Station, tailored to accommodate the evolving needs of our rapidly growing population. Highlights include clinic space for various medical specialties and therapies, along with enhancements such as a lab, expanded sleep center, outpatient surgical center, and shell space for future growth.

This position will support both the main operating room and the Plaza's Ambulatory Surgery Center.

  • Shift/Status: Full Time, 40 hrs./wk. plus call schedule
  • Schedule: Day Shift (rotation between main pre-op department and Plaza)

Job Summary

As a Procedural Registered Nurse, you will oversee patient care using the nursing practice model, including assessing patients, developing care plans, and evaluating responses to care. You will help patients navigate healthcare safely, prevent complications, and delegate tasks according to Texas nursing laws and staff skills.

  • Assess patients carefully, prioritize needs, and create/adjust care plans
  • Ensure quality and effectiveness of nursing practices through monitoring and improvement initiatives
  • Educate patients and staff, integrating education into care
  • Use systems thinking to solve problems for patients, families, and staff

Qualifications
