Job summary

AdventHealth in Palm Coast, FL, is seeking an experienced RN for a full-time position in the surgical/outpatient setting. You will assess patient and family needs, document care plans, and coordinate perioperative care with physicians and anesthesia teams.

Strong clinical and computer skills are essential for EMR use and safe medication administration. The role requires current RN licensure, BLS, ACLS, and PALS as preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assesses and documents patients and families’ needs for quality care.
• Gathers and analyzes data to formulate initial nursing plans and discharge plans.
• Identifies and reports condition abnormalities to anesthesia or surgeon.
• Observes patients during stay in surgical/outpatient units and documents meds.
• Prepares and administers medications, IV fluids, and blood products per orders.
• Coordinates scheduling and preparation for procedures and educates patients.
