Essentia Health in Oregon is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Ambulatory Surgery Center to provide patient care in line with nursing standards and ASC policies.

You will coordinate patient flow, communicate with physicians and teams, and support the facility's mission while meeting Joint Commission requirements. Requires 2+ years in hospital/ASC and EMR experience.

Formación

• Current RN license in the state of employment.
• Minimum 2 years in hospital or ASC operating room.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• BCLS within one month; ACLS within one year; PALS within one year.

Job Description:

Provides care within nursing standards of practice and the policies of the Ambulatory Surgery Center. Makes decisions regarding direct patient care needs and communicates appropriate information to physicians, patients, family members, and personnel in other departments as well as team members. In conjuction with team members directs the patient flow of the day. Contributes to the meeting of the mission and goals of the facility and Essentia, and meets the requirements of the Joint Commission if applicable and/or other federal, state and local regulatory or accrediting agencies. Minimum of 2 years of expereince within a hospital or a Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Operating Room. Must have experience with electronic medical record.
