Job summary

HCA Florida Citrus Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for our Pre-Op / Phase II Recovery / Same Day Surgical Services team in Florida. You will provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient care in a surgical setting and support a collaborative team focused on patient-centered recovery.

The role involves assessing and planning patient care, educating patients and families, maintaining accurate records, and administering medications as ordered.

Qualifications

• Florida RN licensure or appropriate compact licensure with active FL license within 60 days of hire.
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required.
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills.
• Proficiency in charting and reviewing patient records.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, intervene and evaluate care for Pre-Op and Phase II Recovery patients.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Maintain and review patients' records, posting tests and results.
• Administer medications per physician orders.
